Nikki Campbell Green number 18595 - 14 medals.  Hope to run Comrades until my legs and body don't work!
Wilma Gunn-ElsI live in the Western Cape and would like to do Comrades as a stepping stone in my life before I turn 40 in 2011! David Londt I have been running for 2 months now after a long break of 7 years. I am 28 years old and Comrades 2012 falls on my 29th birthday. I have thus made the commitment not only to run and finish Comrades 2012 but to continue running and to make it a part of my life and part of who I am and hopefully complete many more Comrades Marathons in the future. Clive GauntlettI am a 41 year old male novice who will be registering to run 2012 tomorrow! I have never run further than 42ks(10 yrs ago). I have competed in a couple of endurance events over the years such as Cape Epic, iron Man, Dusi etc - but never the comrades!! One day..I would tell myself year after year. Not to long ago (2 months), I was diagnosed with the big C which tends to wake oneself up a bit. Having had fairly extensive surgery to my upper thigh a few weeks back, I was finaly given the go-ahead today to start exercising again in two weeks time. Is it feasible to go from virtualy no base to comrades in 7 months? I am sure it is, so I will register tomorrow and somehow make it work with your advice :)
Fern Quantrill I've been running off and on for 2 years - my goal is to run the Ultimate Human Race in 2012!
